Exciting plans for next year’s Vilnius Salsa Festival (17 to 20 May 2012) are already under way!
Hacha y Machete, Boston’s first professional, New York-style “ON 2” salsa dance company, and Iris de Brito, twice UK Salsa Champion, will be making their debuts in the Baltics!
They’ll be bringing expert salsa instruction through their dynamic workshops and performances in the magical and welcoming city of Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania.
Kizomba, which is becoming increasingly popular across the world, will enjoy a special focus at the festival. Iris de Brito will be giving special workshops in the dance which was created in her country of birth, Angola, and for the first time we will have a Bachata-Kizomba room at our all-night parties.
And there will be plenty of salsa for hardcore Mambo-lovers and Cuban salsa dancers in our salsa room!
Once again the entire Festival will take place in one location, making it all the more enjoyable and convenient for everyone taking part.
It’s a fantastic venue and there’s a hotel inside and several other very friendly hotels nearby, so finding a place to stay couldn’t be easier.

We’re maintaining really reasonable prices once again and we’ll have our widest ever range of top quality workshops to cater for all levels of ability and salsa tastes.
Our parties which go on until dawn are already the stuff of legend (just ask anyone who’s been to them before!) and we have a record that we intend to break in 2012 – the last Sunday party finished at 8.36am; we want to make it even later this time!
There’s no better time than the month of May to visit Vilnius and discover its stunning Old Town, its vibrant night-life and its alluring atmosphere.
It’s a city that never disappoints and nor does our famous salsa festival, which is full of beautiful and friendly people who love nothing more than to dance, party and have fun!
Our festival is growing every year, but we still keep the cozy and intimate atmosphere of a small event which is one of the secrets of its popularity.
So make sure you get the dates in your diary now and come and join us in Vilnius next May.
We’re confident that you’ll find it an enriching, enlivening, inspiring and above all enjoyable event.
And there’s one thing we’re absolutely certain of – if you come along, you won’t regret it!
